Kouyaté Industries is a system-wide ship and engine manufacturing corporation headquartered in Dakar, Senegambia, Africa. Manufacturing plants are located across Earth and some are located on the Moon. The company was founded in 2075, and named after Baako Kouyaté, an engineer turned entrepreneur and business magnate.
Kouyaté Industries' notable achievements are the Tachi fusion engine, which was the most efficient engine when first released in 2099 and based off the Van Kirk Fusion Reactor. It also created the multi-purpouse Rocinante-class ship, which is widely used as a passenger ship for Tycho Spacelines and as a cargo ship for FedEx Shipping.
